Today marks a big day at our Seattle house, the living room is almost done. Our rug arrived and it's really cushy ... the kind that your toes sink into. We finished painting the fireplace and the bookshelves and our new chandelier arrived. It is waiting for Dad to arrive - he can install anything. And sheetrocks like nobody's business. He can basically build a house. Which is why we need him. He's going to sheetrock the garage. Our garage is the only part of the house that still resembles 1927 when our house was built. It needs some help.
But I digress. Our new couch has been ordered and will be arriving around January 3rd. We have finalists selected for a few other items for the room. So I guess it doesn't sound "done" but really it is now, we just need things to arrive. YEAH!
Next up - the kitchen is losing it's robin egg's blue paint and will be primed before next weekend. When we're done every single wall in this house will have been primed and painted. We're ambitious. Photos tomorrow ........
